Krista & Tony Engagement Session – Charlotte Engagement Photographer

These two love birds, Krista & Tony, came all the way from California to NC to shoot their engagement session and do their wedding planning. Krista’s parents actually live near our home so we decide to showcase different areas in our “neck of the woods”. We started out in a wooded area in Krista’s neighborhood and well – who can resist getting on the swings! We used some of our creative lighting to capture the awesome sky in this awesome driveway. Our last spot was a familiar one to Krista – her parent’s backyard 🙂 They overlook the little treasure of Mountain Island lake. Congratulations Krista & Tony! We’re so excited to photograph your wedding at The Charlotte City Club this weekend!

LOVE the attitude in this shot!

So romantic!

How blessed are Krista’s parents? They get to look at this beautiful view of Mountain Island lake right in their backyard.THANK YOU so much for taking the time to read our blog! We LOVE to hear from you!

Do you prefer pictures by the lake, park or a garden? All of these shots were taken less than 5 minutes from our house!

Lydia & Weston – Charlotte Wedding Photographer – Alexander Homestead

Lydia & Weston are like two peas in a pod. They are a perfect fit for each other. This was evident when we first got to know them while planning their baseball themed engagement save the date video and engagement portraits. http://www.whitneyphotoblog.com/2011/05/lydia-weston-charlotte-engagement-session/

Lydia and Weston had a vintage inspired wedding at Alexander Homestead in Charlotte, N.C. Lydia looked stunning in her bridal gown from Poffie Girls nicely accented by her flowers from the Gallery of Flowers.

It was very special to see Lydia’s uncle marry the two of them. I just love the romantic feel to these photos.During the cocktail hour and reception guests were able to play together. It was great to see the board personalized to Lydia & Weston’s favorite Ohio teams. This was such a great detail for the seating arrangement. The door with the wedding colors incorporated was a nice touch! The reception took place at the barn at Alexander Holmstead. The doors opening up to the outside is so cool!
